To be off guard like we were with the two big snow falls in 2009 and 2010 is more of a horror than when a chimney fell through its roof in the North of England and onto the hips of a man fast asleep in his bed, from which he thankfully recovered and now I need his help to gird us English to stand readier than we do normally.
I think the lessons of New Zealanders is best as I used to live there.
But also to explore voluntary and amateur efforts to be readier as there are hardly any Humans as unready as are we English seemingly are for the heavy snow falls.

Television images showed residents hugging each other as they stood in the streets, gazing at cars, buildings and roads destroyed by the quake which hit at 12:51 pm (2351 GMT Monday).
"It's just a disaster," another person told TV3. "There must be deaths this time."
"It really and truly was horrendous," said one man, who was inside a central city restaurant when the quake hit.
Reports said the city had run out of ambulances to rescue the injured, and television footage showed a private 4X4 car being used to ferry away several injured workers.
"It's just huge. It's huge," said one witness, as he surveyed the wreckage of Christchurch's iconic cathedral.
Emergency Psychology:-
"After the police, the paramedics and the fire service, a team of psychologists now promptly arrive at the scene of a disaster ready to collect the broken spirits. "
Who is as amateurly interested in Man as those interested in the Man called Jesus?
By being ready for emergency one is ready for health in general, poverty and handicaped persons.
Christians must be ready for the Wrath of God that may still be set to come upon them sadly.

Dear Rev and Volunteering company.
May blessings in the Good love of Jesus and God of all be growing near you.
I write because at 6 O clock on Monday the 4th of April I heard an unusual bell ringing, and wondered why and what it was.
It was a single bell rung in a sort of emergency fashion over and over.
It drew my attention because at 2 O clock I got through my door the Local Newspaper with another A5 booklet "ARE YOU READY" (PREPARING FOR EMERGENCIES).
I would like to hear from people preparing for emergencies if possible.
I used to mend life boat radios for the Navy on contracts.
I also believe that Earthquakes will become increasingly probable due mainly to the loss of ice pressing down onto the ground as much as it once did do.
May the Lord take us away before the Horrors of Gods powers show upon this Planet.
